Equine Assisted Learning
Equine assisted learning(EAL) is a new innovative way to teach First Responders self-control, awareness and resilience (SCAR) during stressful situations. EAL is a powerful, hands-on approach to personal growth and skill development that uses interactions with horses to teach life lessons. It’s not about riding—it’s about connecting, observing, and learning through experience for better decisions before, during and after a call. EAL builds confidence, and improves emotional regulation skills for the best decision on use of force.

This is a one-day, seven-hour training class. Classes are mobile in your area through the mounted unit facility. Money is paid to the mounted unit for the use of the facility and three horses. Horses are at liberty through the entire class so this does not interfere with any of the horses' training.
Horses and Tactical Training
Horses at liberty is the ideal way to learn what self-control, awareness and resilience means for you. Horses are a reflection of body language and adrenaline levels. They are very resilience to the environment. When people make necessary emotional and physical adjustment, the horses make the same adjustments. One can see the change in the horses and think about the changes made in themselves. These are the very skills necessary in the psychological aspect in tactical training.
